Meet our Director - Deb Flohr

My life has always been a story under construction… written and rewritten more times than I can tell you. I started out in the hospitality industry in my family’s hotel and restaurant in Vermont. After college (and a 2 year stint as an event planner) I began a 15-year career in Corporate Finance which ended when I traded in my suits for a Chef’s coat and graduated from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts with a Professional Chef’s certificate. The next decade was spent in various roles in the hospitality industry, cooking, consulting and managing various venues in the Northeast and Savannah, GA. A jump from South to North Shore a few years ago landed me briefly as the catering director at a large hotel until I fell in love with an historic mansion and became the Director of Events there (here). When I’m not working you’ll find me at yoga, fishing, biking, skiing, reading, cooking (of course), tending my herb garden, or letting my wanderlust take me exploring.
I look forward to meeting you!
